Hi, Not a bad idea.
I am going to try a pulley kit that Tamiya makes for the first try.

Trying to get all the dimensions down properly. So hard !

HI, I have finally managed to decide on the dimensions for my motor arms!
One tiny step towards traction loss !
Still so many more decisions to be made..

hi yokoyoko !

Your playseat is great : i'm curious about the feelings given by the third DOF !

Could you tell us what is the distance between your eyes and your screens ?
I'm on the verge to buy 3 screens :P

If you can, I'd be glad to see some pictures of your triple screen stand ;)

Hi,
the additional feeling given by the third dof is really great. I can encourage everybody who wants to upgrade his 2dof to have a look at this "add on".

Could you tell us what is the distance between your eyes and your screens ?

A tripple screen setup is great. Mine is not the best at all! I use a very old "hanns g 22inch 16/9" screen in the middle and "dell 19inch 4/3" for the left and right side. I had the Dell's lie around and used them for my fresnel lenses experiment (with which I was not satisfied)... You can get a similar screen setup around 120€ at ebay - very good cost performance ratio :)
Three 27inch 120hz fullhd screens would be better for sure

I tried to place the screens as near as possible behind my steering wheel!!! My eyes are around 55cm away from the center of the middle screen. I use around 30° angle for the side screens BUT with bigger screens I would use around 40°-45°.

For the near future I want to replace the screens with a Benq W1070 (very good gaming short throw projector). My goal is to get something like this:
--> very impressive I think

Look at Remco's other great youtube videos... I wonder if you still want a tripple screen  If you have to buy all 3 monitors new the projector setup is cheaper or the same price. And please don't forget the grafic card that is needed to play with a tripple screen setup @ 5760x3240 pixel !!!

Todd Bettenhausen is building a great 3 projector setup atm -->

Let me know what you think,

edit: I will upload a picture later

Best regards

thanks for your detailed answer !

I found the triple projector interesting but it needs toooooo much place in the room for me !

and I agree with you : the rFactor video is impressive ! but the playseat and the screen configuration is not shown, that's a pity !
