I think in your case your simulator should work, as you are doing the shoulder mount I think it should work. As I said in my previous post, I will try to do the same and I'm hoping for the best, for both you and me :)

In my case I think I did a 'design' flaw, putting motors under myself but only cause the JRK's were praised a lot for being very though, I though it should work. Well, 'you live and learn', how the people say :)

how did it go whith your wormgear motor

i have 2 off them and trying to find a motor driver that can handle them
i am looking on a roboclaw 2x60a (120a pick) i hobe can handle them
