No video yet ... the construction is not complete ... because i didn't have a lot of spare time to go on with the build.

No Cad either.

The steel sheets are 4mm thick.

You can see the chassis dimensions in the following pic:

The motors are designed to work From -45 degrees to +45 degrees from rest (horizontal rod) position.
Why only +/- 45 degrees?
If you go above 45 degrees from resting point a lot of linearity is lost. That is above +/- 45 degrees ... the motors turn but the tilt speed is very slow compared to the rotation of the motor.

So a combined use of both motors can output a maximum of about :
10 degrees LEFT or RIGHT,
OR
5 degrees Front or BACK,
tilt on the seat.

Thanks for the pictures and explanation, I will ponder the next step.
Just one thing, the answer is not the most efficient engines in both torque and rpm, working at 24V?

Yes, you are right, if the motors are powered with 24 volt PSU the motion is faster, the torque may be A little more and the amperes will be probably less.

But if you want just to tilt the seat and not a platform of seat-steering wheel-pedals then the motion is ok.

If you want to be able to feel vibration also, then you might need 24volts.I will answer this as soon as I complete my rig and have it working with

sirnoname's newest firmware.

Also, the used 600 watt server 12 volt PSU is very cheap compared to a 24 volt 600watt PSU.

This first clip is just a test with me sitting on the seat.

Its purpose is to demonstrate how quiet the motors are with racingmats ultrasonic code.
