Hello

I'm confused. I bought the actuators here

http://www.surpluscenter.com/sort.asp?keyword=EALD&catname=electric&PAGELEN=20&PageNo=1

My drives are 4 inch and 2500 LB, but no longer listed.

I searched the brand and I found this.

http://www.moteck.com/product.asp?idproduct=311

The model of my actuators is ID10-12-20-A-100, but no longer listed.

I must tell you, that the speed of these actuators is not appropriate for a simulator. The price is very affordable, but you have to modify or replace them with others who have a higher speed

regards
Txus

150mm/s is a minimum for a actuator. You can overvoltage them but with 30mm/s you must kill them to get 150mm/s ;)
The SCN5 have 400mm/s as maximum and are driven by about 200mm/s for a good result.
Such a speed needs normaly ball beared equipment.

This is a great achievement!
I would like to have information on the shaft if possible
From where comes this type of cardan?
it is interesting, I would like to find / buy the same cardan in France.

have you a video of your simulator with the cylinder in the "style DBOX" (first post) ?

thanks

Hi

In France do not know where to buy them, I have bought in Spain, you can learn more here http://www.buruaga.com

for now I have no video of the simulator running, because even I could not finish it because I'm a little convalescing at the moment, I hope to begin to complete the project in a few weeks.

Best Regards
Txus

Search for a propshaft on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/land-rover-di ... 3ccad1c25c - Cut and weld one cardan joint to the size you want and keep the other joint as a spare.
