Strange, the ebay advertisments say there are still more than 10 of each in stock:

these motors might cost more, but they are of great design and strength, that is if you wish to consider them.
Although the ebay motors will certainly shake you up. ;)

Here is a nice motor that you can try to get more information about. It gives lots of gear reduction options:

tronicgr,
I tried sourcing from same website - AC motors with gearhead for platform project. Here in the USA, the gearmotors cost close to 600.00 US each. The source which sells for China and Pacific Rim took about a week to get back to me. Each motor - 250.00 Great - BUT, no one in the US services them and the shipping EACH was 400.00 US. For me, it wasn't worth the gamble.

hi Thanos,
Its true that similar motors cost approx 200 Euros each with the transport fee. In that price i finded the perfect motor. http://www.transtecno.com/en/products/dc/stock/ . 180watt with rare earth magnets. i talk to to seller and its far better than the motors with permanent magnets and more powerfull.
As i cant afort to buy those, i will buy those: http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/29 ... alers.html .
will see if its worth it.

I talk to the seller and he told me that this combination motor and MCP4 gearbox cant perform the Nm that i want for my sim (approx 15 Nm).
Floriske, how Kg does your sim weights?

I have no exact idea how much my sim weighs, I did a rough guess a while back and I think it's about 125kg incl driver.

Beware that with torque figures often max torque or even stall torque is mentioned in specs instead of nominal torque! Finding a less than 200W motor with 15Nm nominal torque will be a challenge anyway, these rates are mostly only reached with slow speeds (high gear ratios).

The ZYT90 motor specs mention 0.8Nm torque 23A and 0.4kW (400W)

Since 23A * 12V = 276W this leads to believe that max power is 400W and thus max current is 33A (400W : 12V).

Using 23A from the specs as nominal current for the ZYT90 without gearbox for nominal torque this would result in:

Torque = ( (Watts/746) / RPM ) x 5252 x 1,356 x gearbox ratio

Nominal torque = ( (276/746) / 4700 ) x 5252 x 1,356 x 1 = 0.56Nm

Max torque = ( (400/746) / 4700 ) x 5252 x 1,356 x 1 = 0.8Nm

With gearbox this can be multiplied with the gearbox ratio (25) which results in 14Nm nominal and 20Nm max.

Bare in mind that these calculations are without loss due to friction in the gearbox, that would be a lot harder to calculate.

And once again, might just be that the specs aren't accurate at all.

torque specs can be tricky, you can work out figures on paper based on specs, but that is usually not that accurate.
Still if a wiper motor moved you, there is a safe bet a bigger motor will MOVE you more.
Thats what I guessed, and I was right (for a change).

The build looks really impressive. Especially with its blue finish. Is not that a famous "Subaru Blue Mica" paint? definitely has some rally spirit in it:-))

BTW have you tried playing RBR on your motion simulator yet? I did few days ago but I'm not quite happy with ingame values sent to my simulator.
For example, lateral and longitudinal forces are seemed to be constantly changing in direction making movement of simulator little bit chaotic.

I'll try pitch and roll later this weekend those ones seems to be more predictable.

Hi matsuda,
Sorry for my late response.
Yes, this is the "Subaru Blue Mica" paint. I only play RBR and got the hole idea for subaru 06 WRC RALLY CAR in RBRally.
with the values i had help from Thanos.
The last x-sim software has RBR tested.
still have to test the new motors. i will post some videos as soon as iam ready :D
