You can import your CAD work in Unity. Then you can connect the components with so called joints. Then you can use the visual export option of X-Sim to get the game values to the unity engine and move your actuators in realtime to the game. After this you can build a simulation exe like the Simforce GT simulation. Most work is the map editor with setting the joints. I did this as a example for another simforce simulator last year. Looks nice if you add a VR CAM to make it Oculus compatible. See in below picture the control rods in yellow. Each color is a fixed part, each color is connected with many joints.
