Nice and smooth movement, I like the monitor mount, good job :)
Around 10 amps are normal for wipers on load, it can be also higher.

What is the game you're playing? I don't recognize that minimap :)

I am noticing that your knees are a lot bended, how is that working for you? Any pain in the knees or foot / shin area after some time of driving?

I used to run my wipers at 23 amps on JRK. I used fans to cool the motors.

HY,

The game is Race Driver Grid, i love this game, also graphigs is very nice

The driver is a college from me, he is much taller than me, and the Sim is adjusted to me.

But the pedal- unit is moveable, so this is not a problem.
Also the Wheel is adjustable in the height in combinatin with the monitor.

@ motiondave
How can you do that.
which wipers do you use, because my motors did not take more than 10A!

I have also tuned my JRK with a little cooler on it.
i also use fans to cool the motors!
and everything is pretty cold!

The wipers were from a large passenger car , no specific model. In fact they were not even the same. I never worried about ratings on wipers. Most current ratings are standard use , not stall. Stall current it 2-3 times rated , hence 23 amps through them . Just wind up the current in the JRK.
Motion sim motors run at stall current , not rated.
Yes they got hot, but I put fans on the wipers and they helped stay cool. Also my jrks had a 120 mm fan cooling them.
To get decent motion , you need to run high current. The JRK will run 30 amps continuous , I know because that's what mine run at all the time with spikes of 34 amps .
These days I run big worm gear motors , they are rated at 16 amps , but I run them at 30 amps. I've had them at 38 amps. The jrks never stopped , but the heat sinks were very hot to touch , even with a fan of them.
Make sure there is a heat sink on the big chip of the JRK.
And yes , grid is a good game . Visually impressive , Arcady in game play , but great motion.

The JRK has a thermal cut out if it gets too hot, so you will not cook it.
The motors should have a fan on them for sure

i´ve mounted cooler and one fan on the JRK´s, and with 10A they are icecold. 8-)

the motors get a little bit warm when i turn off the fans. i think not more than 30°C, with fans icecold. So i thinkt i have Prerequisites to "overclock" the JRK´s.

but i have to say, that in my workshop it is not very warm. At least 15-18 °C at the tests.

which games do you play?
