Hi Guys, yep, almost thinking of another rig based on this set up but to suit my sons.
This will give me the excuse to upgrade, I would still go the JRK’s (unless anyone can advise of better alternative) they really are easy to set up.
But
Would go to 12v worm drive motors (Motiondave knows the next best alternates).

Back to the build, I will snap some shots of my DIY Tactile Transducer; there is a tone of info on moding a subwoofer into a buttkicker style unit. I have to say it has added a whole new dimension to the rig. I will include the steps I used to complete, I used a cheap (Dicksmith) 100w active sub, I also modded the sub enclosure, looks like a sub but doubles hold my keyboard and soon will house my power supply (also the amp is still in place that drives the transducer).
Here is a shot, you can just see the transducer mounted to bottom of frame (I have since lowered the new 32’’ TV)

My current big motor sim, the foot motor is good as I have made it adjustable for my younger boy, the pedals move up towards him, the wheel height is adjustable , and next step is make the actual wheel position adjustable to it is closer to him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2UVr20ULdQ this video shows it setup for him, so its a bit of planning and mods and 2 can drive, not at the same time though .

Great sim!!
I like the linkeage setup!
I too have an issue with weight for the more heavy driver! (me)

Quick question;
I have identical wiper motors like yours, what speed are you running them.
seems that my wiper set up its not strong enough to move my son 66lbs.
Can you post a picture of wiper power connection to compare to mines!

Thanks!
