yes! the universal joint I had recovered from the bottom of the steering of a little bus (seen in post-March 2011),
I had not expected the anti twist tie and was torn after a very short time ... the forces in play are not low even if the cradle is balanced!

I agree, we have to make reliable and safety sim!!!

really wonderful, can I ask why the dynamics of drift DOF seems slow?

enWhat amazes me is the excursion that your sim in the drift! I would like to accomplish in the two opposite guides, responsive but limited to a few degrees, just to feel the effect of (+ / - 30 °)

itQuello che mi stupisce è l'escursione che ha il tuo sim nel drift!!! nel mio la vorrei realizzare con due guide opposte, reattiva ma limitata a pochi gradi, giusto per percepire l'effetto (+/- 30°)

Hello,

I did it in a similar way, but looks not so nice as yours. As I have wiper, I needed to make some extensions. I've gone to the turner, to drill a hole into the wiper's gear. There's a thread in the hole and I glued into a bolt. So now, I have an extra axis at the back of the wiper, to drive my pot.

Hello Micmac80 !

In the future I'd like to give the 3-DOF Sim - drift / yaw - ie 3-DOF simulator by whaleman SFGT style.

What's new about the third DOF :?:
I haven't found the design ("whaleman SFGT") you talked about ... could you share a link, please ?

Thanks
Mat

Hi all,
@Mat, I have not made the 3DOF, remains a project for the future, when I take out the SIM.
You can see the type of movement on the draft "thecure".

Are months that use the constant velocity joint, all ok.
I hope to finish soon the appearance of the SIM and post photos and video,

hi all,
new engine, I replaced the old that is broken. I modified the wiper motor, removing the ground connection, connected to the brushes you need and reassembled the whole thing (ps if you happen excludes inductors and the rest, directly connected to the brushes, because the power is PWM)

old and new engine, the newest and largest (VALEO 579151 - 1993 to 2002 peugeot 306)

change brushes, no grounding

engine ready

installed
