Really terrific layout, but more than several pictures are missing. Could you check on that and fix?

Hi Chas ! Thanks :-)
What do you mean by missing ? Sometimes on xsim forum, you need to click on "numbers" in order to make the images appearing ?!

This is what I see on my iPad

Just thought you Would like to *.. By the way what is the load limit/payload/maximum weight for your Motion base?

Thanks,

I'm 75kg and the playseat has worked well even with a 85kg pilot ! no problem

if the load was to be heavier, you should just reduce the lever arm length : -10mm for example

(for the pictures, it's a functionality of the forum : you should contact by PM an administrator)

Hi Mat,

I would like to congratulate your work is very inspiring!

I am a fanatic for racing simulators, some years been studying the possibility of building a motion simulator.

Now with your project step by step, I think I can build one for myself.

I have no ability to mount plates (DIY), with arduino everything is easier. :)

Just a doubt.

The card you are using (Monster Moto Shield) is equal to correct this?

On the website of Sparkfun, the higher price than the deal extreme. Is there a difference in the quality of the components of the plates? Apparently they are equal.

Go for it !!!

(The card is the same :-) but max 16V)

Hello,

I would like to try out the arduino code you inserted. Actually I do not know what kind of interface plugin should I use with.
Previously I was using Sirnoname's xpid.ino which has its plugin (USB XPID).
The screens you attached looks a different version of x-sim than I use. I use the latest. Can that be a problem?

@wptm : nice to see you're interested in !

There is no need for any additionnal plugin.
The solution is very simple :
- copy/paste the code in an empty file .ino to upload it into the arduino
- copy the xsim plugin in the rFactor directory
- use the standard USO panel of Xsim

Yes, the snapshots are from Xsim2 but it's (nearly) the same.
(I'm currently on holiday away from my sim...)
