I have same as matracing. Dps 600pb 12v 47A.

I will test with 24v. Then the current should be the half.

I hope my pololu will survive :) :)

Yes, check the Pololu specs first!
You can lower a bit PwmMax.
Or a car battery would prevent any pb also.

With my nephews sometimes is happended because they were too light : i guess that the seat goes too far...

Thank u Mat.
I lowered the PWM from 255 to 245. Then it works.

But i wanted to know whats going on with 24V.
The Wiper are a litte bit stronger. But not as i thought. If your seat is very heavie you maybe have to Change from 12V to 24 V but not for movement.

Hi, racingMat,
you are awesome for sharing this good work. please pardon my english coz i am com from Taiwan. You got a fan in asia *
Recently i am building my own sim based on your idea, but the valeo motors are difficult to find in Taiwan. Could you teach me how to choose motors here, can i use 12v wiper motors from japan car(toyota altis) or how many torque that ok to me, i am 170bls/80kg weight. thanks for your reply in advance.

Hi Seanbig! Welcome!

As I don't know your japanese wiper motors, I can tell you:
- choose the biggest you can find (monospace, bus...), that would fit!
- if you can, choose a 12V motor, it's simplier to find PowerSupplyUnit and Hbridge

Yours
Mat
