Hi ,

Really good job and great movements . I like the guy on the platform who 's screaming during motion.

Well done!

Its moving great!! Its fast! Great Job!

For the minor issues, try adjusting the PID a little bit and the parameters of the VFD... ;)

Thanks!

Thanks!

during my design
motors' sero arm are face to face
880mm far between the two motors' aixs.
arm 180mm long
lever 660mm long
platform height 900mm(when the servo arm in horizonal positon

need to set the arm length at least 75 in the x-sim 6dof plugin software to make the platform surge & sway moving horizontal.

very good speed
it's better on your post to discuss ;)

your cam lever is 180 mm right?
what is your speed gearbox output in Rpm?

I have a question, if you move the cam in hand, you can feel a little play / movement in the gear, "may be" 1 mm or no ?

Riton:

the gearbox ratio is 60:1 down the rpm to 24.
and
Yes if you turn the cam in hand, their is a little bit interval.

I have a good chronometer and a good eye!
24 Rrpm!
nearly 30 rpm

increasing fréqunce you arrived at 30 rpm if you want.

180 mm x 2 on a run of 180, you're nearly to surge and sway heauve 360 mm / s

Ok thanks for information, good works, speed is good ;) better at 30 RPM :)

Sorry for late reply
Just back to work after the Chinese golden week vacation :P

Yes, I had replace the arms and the upper triangle platform
Tube can not give enough strength...

The tube one I made almost broken when we complete the moving adjustment...

No worries! We are waiting for new video once you have it operational again!

I remember you told me you cannot access the support forum because of the china internet restrictions, so I'll give you here the news:

There is a new firmware release v1.0l. Download it from here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qdskyi5dcs0nzw7/AABOjcg9xuI9T6P4T7VXrYtka?dl=0

Short description of the changes(and some photos):

PID values can be down to "0" *
Min motor speed can be down to "0" *
Max motor speed has range from 5% to 100%.

The motor speed is different for on-line use and offline use. You can set each speed independently, in two different menus.

- The Max motor speed menu now has two parameter that you can change:
1. On-line motor speed (when its connected to software and receiving position data)
2. Off-line motor speed (not connected, but sets the max speed during power-up or moving back to start position).

The menu "6DOF start pos" that relates to the "off-line" mode, has now one new menu. The motor start step defines how close will be the "step" (or path) of the setpoints to place the motor to its start position. The motor Off-line speed defines the actual speed of the motor to move through these steps to the "start" (or home) position that is defined on this menu. So if you notice that there is vibration while the platform tries to go to "start" position, decrease the motor "Off-line speed", and increase the "step". For example use Off-line speed 25% and Step 99.

If you get a chance to test it let us know if you encounter any bugs.

Thanks
Thanos
