Hi thecure,

You mean like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-pcs-ATMEL-ATM ... 910wt_1267

Yes, that is one way to get Atmega644. But maybe you can try using Farnell as they have other parts that you can order along.

The "FTDI - UM232R - EVALUATION KIT, USB-UART, TTL, FT232RL" in the link you gave above, is not directly compatible with AMC1.6. You will have to rewire it to use it as it has different pin number assignments.

Thanos.

then perhaps buy jrks and have them on your doorstep in 3 days.......
Really, give the suppliers a chance...the tronic is a good board , even if some parts take time to get there....

16pf crystals are usually SMD package (really tiny surface parts).

You need to make sure its a through hole part:

Hi Thecure,

The "ATMEGA644-20PU-16 MHz 8-bit 64K-FL-2K RAM-EE 2.7 to 5.5 V 40 DIP" is correct chip.

I don't know why they marked it "16Mhz" since they already put the correct speed right before that: "20PU"

Best Regards,
Thanos

I tronicgr
a little ignorant question:
believe that the motor for the rotation of the base we can omit the reference potentiometer or encoder?

doubt it is because the rotation is free ...
without reference only the data of X-SIM :( :(

always sorry for my "perfect" English
