This is much work you are doing.
Do you think the chair will move if the weight of a person will stuck your wooden stick into hole solution?
As far I have learned from the rock'n'ride you need ball beared solutions.
This could be in your case drawer rails with metal ball bearing solutions.

Another question would be if this wooden construction will carry a person without break down.
Is this a modelling prototype and you will do this again out of metal?
If a answer is correct or did help you for a solution, please use the solve button.

it's just a model.
it will be made of steel of course.
For sliding and rotating part, I use bronze bushings and ball joints. look at post 1

This wooden model allows me to check the plans, and trouble-free operation before performing steel.

I pioneered this achievement versus dynamic force.

This is not the jacks which moves towards the cockpit,
but, the axes which slide and rotate simultaneously.

the chassis is simpler, easier to achieve.

The model helps me to reflect on my work and verify potential problems.

I hope to start soon the steel construction, this project is very motivating!
I must complete engine positioning for 360 ° rotation.
I still have to work on the model for all check and all the true position before carrying steel.

I'll start slowly with a pole and the realization of a single slide assembly.
I do realize machining.
There are parts to buy, this is fast money ...

I would not want to buy all the pieces and realize that there is a malfunction.

I will post the work of course!

Hello Riton,

I see your work from the beginning, very good project, I think it would be better use ball ring (I think like Sinoname).

You do not fear to rapid wear or hang on the axis?

It's posible to use self-lubricating ring?

There are also composite ring, but probably more expensive.

I like the "one pole" setup, looks good.
I am sure it will all hold together and the bearings will be fine, just a matter of finding the right product.
