Hello, I did it in a similar way,...So now, I have an extra axis at the back of the wiper, to drive my pot.

Hi wptm, good solution! 've tried hall effect pots ? a model with 90 electrical degrees would be great, too bad they cost a lot, do not find them for less than € 25 each (continuous rotation = not break),
