Thanks Mat, that is a good idea, I reckon I can make that work. It will be much easier getting it up my stairs if I can carry it in a couple of pieces.

I have build the top part and I am loving using it with no motion on my just signed up for iracing account. Now I just need to stop racing long enough to complete the lower frame.

I want add springs in four corner to maintain the seat position and angle before I hop in the cockpit. Could you suggest me what type springs can hold around 25kg each corner.

no, the springs won't maintain the position... if they were strong enough to maintain the position under your weight, the motors won't be able to move the pit

your motor are not irreversible?

My motors are not irreversible, I use second hand motors. Is there problem with my motors? The brand new motor is all irreversible?

the smolka are irreversible: that's useful when you enter your simpit!

I would advice you to use a removable shim
or a kind of fork that lock your sim into horizontal position and the fork could be turned to free your sim

do you see what I mean?
because springs will only slow down all your dynamics and not maintain your pit...
