with some more work on the iracing profile and all the Jrk's full "limitless" now:

Wow this feels great! The slalom at beginning was nearly a bit to harsh.

Thanks guys.
To be honest - I'm glad the update is done!

Depending on your exitsting Sim's - this update was easier than expected. The hardest part was getting all the stuff (and not wait for years on it).

Details and plans will come. On cost's:

- 20€ for the wheelbearing (used)
- ~80€ for the frame (without Tv-mount)
- 35€ "bearing" in the back (price depending on your and sim's wheight)
- 50€ "Plate in back" (these plastic guys are crazy :o ) - searching for a alternative
- 80€ Jrk or whatever
- 5€ Wiper (used) or ...
- 10€ connecting rod
- power supply (car batterie so far)

Would be interesting if the setup is exportable on a sim like Floris one f.e.. The wheelbearing is strong enough to support your sim in center of gravity. Just a "big" mounting plate would be needed. The motor attached to the plate in the end with a bit longer leverarm than mine. The connection motor to existing sim with a bearing and a sloted plate perhaps.? Hard to explain I will add a drawing on this idea later.

Best regards
yoko

Sorry guy's - I was very busy the last days - promise better times...

Here a quick update of the rig:

1) Triple Screen Setup alà "turn":

2) Pedals alà Todd Canon:

3) Bmw (original) shifter - slightly moded

I have only done a short test ride yet but I LOVE it already!

Hi Motiondave - that is true!

Never ending modifications......

I hope this is not true ;-)

The shifter mod was very easy. I bought this thing dirt cheap on ebay - removed everything that has no function (for simracing) and connected the microswitches to a Derek Speare Controller Board. Once you have shifted a Bmw then you know the brilliant haptics. The shifter feels really solid.
Hard to build a similar shifter for the price (at least here in germany). I searched this shifter on Ebay Australia but no luck - even in the U.S. the shifter will cost 5times the price as here :? .
