I'm sorry but I'm not fully convinced with the motion you are getting, maybe someone else can correct me why does it look like that. I see the percentages from forces, but it doesn't look right, like there is not much g-force simulated in places where it should most.

When you hit a brake the simulator is moving you flat back instead of moving you a bit forward and leaning you down to simulate effect of g-force while braking, which would be pushing you towards your wheel.

When you accelerate, it moves you flat forward and there is also not much movement, but this is very fast car you're driving - it should move you back and lean you back to simulate acceleration force, pushing you back in the seat. It looks like braking and acceleration profile settings are reversed.

Also, the simulator is strafing you left/right when you are steering and drifting in corners, where it should rotate your back side to left/right to simulate traction loss.

Please don't get my comments wrong, this is very nice simulator, great work, but I think there is much more potential to enjoy it more with better setup / profile..

That could be true for Flight simulation, but for car racing simulation that you need fast reactions and short motion cues, short travel and small angles might convert the motion platform in helping tool to get better race times instead of working against you making it more difficult.

The good thing it that all these are just software limits, you can adjust it for more motion as you like to fit all kind of simulation of vehicles or aircrafts.

We are planning to order the same equipment. The partnumbers are:

- Motor: Model: TJ- AC - 750W-S (flange type 80B14 for small flange or 80B5 for large flange. Whatever you prefer.)
- Gearbox: Model: TJ- BHADE75 (make sure flange type matches)
- With two output shafts:28mm

total amount is approx $1800 without shipping.

But we are still looking for some not-too-expensive VFD's. For now we are not really sure how to choose them :) The Schneiders BFG10K uses are quite expensive.

Hi
Congratulation
It look nice
May I know the break down of the costing
Like how much the motor from china ?
What model ?
Have you try R44 simulator ?
Thanks
CS Tay
From Singapore

I am a chinese live in singapore hope you can help producing a USD 1000 below simulator for mass market
Can wechar or whatsapp me at +6590065612

1 simulator games

2 for training pilot for R44 helicopter

3 install like wheelchair
can be use for person who need to travel by boat or ferry but afraid of seasick
So the wheelchair will be stabilizing the movement of the boat and the person sitting on it will no feel to roll and pitch of the boat
best if he can wear video screen like Oculus spec and watch movie

Thanks

I never thought of option #3... Sounds good solution to cure sea sick travelers... And its easy to implement too, just feed the calculated 6DOF motion data from a 6DOF gyro/acc sensor to it, perhaps you won't even need computer for such system, all embedded. Perhaps we could extend its use in real cars to counter balance the forces to the driver... Hmmm!!
