Hi Everybody ,
I made a new video for this sim.I performed all effects in xsim3.My originally setup was just with effects 25,27,26, Now i added Pitch , velocity X ,Y , Yaw acceleration.
I would like to thank Yokoyoko for its great job in how to make a profesional setup on xsim3 New update.

Wow :o that is looking impressive strong. These SEW's are impressive - and the AMC 1.6 does a real good job on them.

I could imagine that some more "roll-effect" in the "karussel" would make a lot of fun. In combination with a "bump-effect" I like this part of the track most!

Really nice of you!

But my vid is pretty basic and you did this "better" profile on your own ;) Unfort. (after my accident) I had to catch up at work first and am a bit off timeline in doing part2 and part 3 of the profiling video  sorry on that. I hope to get this uploaded really soon.

Thanks Vicpopo and Thanos for your great fundamental research on this!

Hi Yokoyoko,

I've got the feeling for bumps in the 'Karussel' .If you can look at my body it's shaking.
I agree with you I will add roll effect for having a better feeling eventhough I never drive on the Nordschleife in the real life
Thanks for your comments and job.In the next months I must my own simulator building ,because this one is for a friend.

I know - I meant the roll effect to combine with that "bumpy feeling" of the "road of exposed-aggregate concrete". My used words maybe were a bit wrong.

eventhough I never drive on the Nordschleife in the real life
Give your wife a hint you want THIS for birthday: http://www.rentracecar.de/ - the guys there are really kind and knowing what they are talking about (instructors). Even the Suzuki Swift on semi-slicks is such a great experience!
In terms of bumpiness of the karussel -> the first time with my private car on that part of track - my inner mirror fell off my porsche  - german quality glue of 1986

Hi Gilles,

That is great work! And the motion is now much more dynamic! I really like the fact that you placed the 2DOF platform on old tires. It adds a little bit heave effects doesn't it? I used the flexing "feature?" of the joyrider platform years ago to achieve similar motion cues.

Regards,
Thanos

Hi Thanos,

Yes it does.
For others members I placed the simulator on 4 tires.
The original target was not to have this effect with bump response from tires.
When it's raining very hard I 've sometimes got water on my garage. To avoid that the sim sink like Titanic I placed it on 4 tires.

In fact on the first forum simulator.de a russian guy (which made your amc1.5 ) suspended his simulator with 4 hooks.
He said that it's really great.

Best Regards

Hi ,

New video with a F1 car. It's so difficult to stay on a track one turn and I know great this circuit. It's going too fast , gear up gear down and my body is a lot shaked. For trying to have an idea look at my foot ....

Enjoy

Great Job! I don't think you can get this result with DC motors, at least not so powerful vibration!!! :D

welll.....maybe not the degree of movement yes, but the vibration is harsh if the profiles are right , especially on the big worm gears.

But if you can afford a 240v setup, this is very good.
Job well done!

Indeed looking really good. May I ask if you use your "regular" profile for the video or do you use the slider profile adapted to your sim?
