Hi Johnny,

I have never finished this simulator because of errors that I had and some design problems with the motors under my seat, it didn't work. In the end I have cut the frame and did something other, I have put the motors behind me and I did the shoulder mount, moving just the seat, not whole simulator.

This is my current setup and it is working fine, I switched back to wiper motors because I couldn't setup JRK's and ZYT90 to work fine:

This was setup with ZYT90 motors with shoulder mount, but it didn't work for me, I had a lot of JRK errors and in the end I put back wiper motors. Since then I didn't have any errors and everything is working nice now

If you have same motors and JRK's like me, I hope you will do better, I didn't have luck.
As for the noise, I did have some noise and I am still having it now, I think it is the small gap in rod bearing. But it's hard to eliminate that, after some time I don't hear it anymore while playing, you just forget about it :)

Yeah, I'd say that a gap on rod ends are causing the noise. The interesting part is that if I lean left or right, the noise completely vanishes, which suggests that noise is created when the platform is in good weight balance :) Makes sense too.

I had no problems with wiper motors underneath the seat. How far did you placed them from the pivot (cardan) in your previous design?

Cheers

Problem found and solved days ago. I was mistakenly shorting arduino ports A4 and A5 with a conductive screw  Thankfully nothing was damaged.
