Can you put the reply's and pictures starting on page 6 to the new topic , and delete them here
I will name it fsx motion platform
Thanks Henk

Hi Vic , could you send me more info /file for using the software
I`m Now to a point where I can turn the motor and gearbox box where I wanted to turn but ,
]when reaching the given value it starts going up and down without stopping to try maintain the given value.
Is there a setting to ajust
mind I need to figure out how to set to maxium angle of 45 degree to either direction

thanks Henk

Hi Vic ,
sorry for bothering you(again),
I spend most of this weekend to solve some problems , but finally I removed Xsim 3 for X sim 2,
I couldn`t got the motors up and running in Xsim 3 but did in Xsim 2 software
why ? I don`t *

Is it possible for you to place printscreens of your settings in X sim 3 converter
(input .math, output(USO),calbration setups and interface/program settings)
so I can reinstall Xsim 3 and compare yours against mine, and play with my settings.

thanks in advance,
regards henk

Hi henk ,

You can find attached my profile for rfactor.
First some descriptions :
- my simulator is a frex style ,that means 2 arms level with a center universal ball joint. My motors setup for the ball joint , that means for acceleration both arms level are lift up.And the opposite for brake.
The amc1.6 has got a interestning features the mode choosen (SFGT , Frex style or JoRY JR , Joyrider style). As I 'm using the Frex style swith button n°3 on ON (the 4 dip switch buttons) , I just have to write one effect in one axis declared in xsim the amc1.6 makes the job to duplicate the setpoint for the other axis.
In this way you just have to write one effect in one axis to drive the simulator.
In one axis the amc1.6 duplicates the values to the other with the same direction (effect 27 , effect26 )
For the other axis amc1.6 duplicates and change the direction (effect 25 lateral effect)

Personaly I pushed the dip switch button n°4 to ON .I didn't remember why but it works so.

Remember that you can change the values in xsim effect too (invert input value) , that means that you have to proceed with a lot methodic to achieve programming as well your simulator.

Connect both motors and begin with one effect first and with the longitudinal effect .After effect pro effect setup xsim.
If your simulator is wrong with the first effect don't go a step forward.

One more think , I noticed that the simulator reacts very faster with Kp settings in amc1.6 FW.Begin with KP = 3 for both axis. With KP 5 my simulator reacted very very faster .In your inverter setup the ramp up and ramp down not to zero at the begining.Begin with 0,2 or 0,3 second and if it's ok try to reduce.

Regards

No , not yet tested on this game.

Maybe try with a car game like rfactor to well understand how to proceed.

I made many tries to setup the simulator correctly. And when I say many that means more than 50 tries triyng to find the right setup. ;)
Keep hang on my friend ...

Good morning,

Lm from brazil, and lTripahse 2 dof joyrider.. A already have all material, but l having trouble in arduino controlling the VFDs, the circuit l made to connect , going attached here... my arduino gets crazy when l turn on the vfds, can you help me, l have a dc motors working perfect when same arduino fimrware l made ... and l alredy made this work with one ac motor and vfd,s but it starts to crash and not work anymore when l turn on 2 motors, when both logic gnd of vfds joinned with arduino gnd.. seems that you already solved it , can you aid me ?

going attahed my circuit , l put resistors of 2,2k at base of tip 122 , not shown at image l send here , my inverter activate ports of vfd at low level.
it already worked withpush buttons... but arduino crash, even when l disconects the gnds, some oscilations must the provide by the inverter to crash arduino, but l dont how solve it yeah, ist the last thing missing to make my simulator AC works, can you aid me , guys ?

thanks, help me

My motors are 1/2 cv with WEG 08 inverters , all pp cables well isolated. l not using break resistors. just arduino , some tip transistors annd vfd´s, arduino is getting crazy when inverters are turn on, l m thinking in out diodes to avoid the oscilations back from the inverter, but dont know if will works, so l think is better to ask for the guys that already realize it works.. so , any ideas boys ? my schema goes attached
