First test, first problem... Bad news today ... I plugged my new and very unfortunately it lacks torque motor 30. I have not checked the settings and tuning of the drive, but it seems to compromise.
some times when I go fast on the sim, this puts the engine to do a strange noise and it becomes "soft" without being able to hold a charge. the display shows 5 A out.
engine power is a bit small but I mishandled the engine! I weigh 88 kg, I jumped and abused the engine by putting my weight on the cylinder as close to the cylinder.
I can do unhook torque motor
I need to finish the frame to really test properly in games.
I am confident. I have some solution if I run out of power: put a spring, reducing the cam.
Where is that shaking is coming from? Which AMC do you have now (remind me) is the older one AMC644USB? Can you turn off the LCD updates while trying with the motor? It will make the responce of the PID much better.
I haven't updated the firmware of the AMC644USB since long time as I was busy integrating new features on the AMC1280USB...
I hope to have some parts delivered soon so I can send you your new controller.
Regarding the spring solution... Maybe add a complete car suspension system... it will damp as well
HI Thanos yes, that's my old card AMC 64. just to test the motor actually, I find it hard to adjust the PID In addition, the encoder function setting is malfunctioning, when I turn it jumps functions may be you can add me in sending the new AMC 128.
-Decrease the Motor max speed on the AMC644USB LCD menu. Maybe down to 50% -Set PID to 3,1,1 -Disable the LCD updates (dip switch) -Decrease the max motor RPM via the VFD configuration, to half of the rated speed of the motor.
Also check the cables from the sensors to see if they go near power cables causing interference. Ground the shield of the sensor cables if possible. In the new AMC1280USB I've added oversampling on the sensors to filter noise better.
