Hello everyone!

First I want to thank and congratulate the community for providing the information and materials that made it possible for me to build my own simulator.
And sorry for bad English, I'm from Brazil.

I've started building my simulator a few months ago. I already finished the mechanical parts and now I'm finishing the electronics.

Here some pictures of the sim. I have based on RacingMat project.
I used Autodesk Inventor to make the drawing.







Using this Cockpit from WSGT and a Logitech G27.


Two Bosch wiper motor 24v / Arduino Uno / Pololu VNH5019 / Two PSU 24V 14,5A in parallel.


The base made of wood and steel.


Base welded.


Base with more wood and all the electronic mounted for testing.


I uploaded the RacingMat code to the Arduino and tested sending commands by Serial Monitor and worked great!
I will post more details and some videos later.

Gostaria de saber quanto é que gastou em materiais... Apenas nestes:

* 2 Bosch wiper motor 24v
* 1 Arduino Uno
* 1 Pololu VNH5019
* 2 PSU 24V 14,5A in parallel.

Gostaria de comprar e também fazer um simulador a baixo custo...

Hello all!

It's almost done! At least it looks haha .



Unfortunately the center of mass was wrong, it was too heavy and one of the motors broke.
The gear is made of plastic and broke. I asked a friend to make new steel gears and I am waiting to be ready. Then I'll place some springs to balance and also decrease the range of motion to test again. Hope it works
