CSX Motion Simulator

Postby nury961 » Thu 22. Nov 2012, 01:17

Hi everyone;

As I described at the page mentioned below I wanted to do 2DOF...
http://www.x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20&start=130

After a lot of searches; I CONFUSED SO MUCH... :shock: I dont know what I will do...

I bought SAITEK X52 PRO FLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM & SAITEK PZ35 PRO FLIGHT RUDDER PEDAL from turkish suppliers with a amount of 526 TL (1€=2,3 TL) it is approximately €230.

Yesterday I ordered Velleman K8055 USB interface with amount of 100 TL == €44... (supplier called me and said that this card is our of stock!!)

I also bought 2 pieces of 1kw DC motor 3000 rpm with a 1:90 gear box and get 2 mitsubishi inverters.

Tomorrow 2 monza racing seats will come and will give a gift one of them to my friend deniz elmas

For the computing system I dont want to use 2 different computers. Because of that I ordered special computer which is ASUS
INTEL İ73770K 4.6GHZ 16GBDDR3 2TB+128GB SSD BLU-RAY 2GBDDR5 GTX680VGA WIN7... (24/11/2012)
For the chasis or hardware of the simulator is not problem... No any serious cost will be occur, all materials from my warehouse :D

It will me my first simulator and firstly I was thinking to build 360 degree 2 DOF motion simulator like the brasilian guys have done... But know I dont think to produce it firstly...

Maybe to produce joyrider will be best for *..

What is your opinions...
Please give me some suggestions...

Nury

Have you thought about using Tronicgr AMC 1.6 instead of the Velleman board? -> Better performance I guess.

Hi;

I got my Saitek X52 Pro Joystick & Rudder pedals at 20/11/2012... They look so good and feeling is not so bad, I mean you can buy without any doubt, dont confuse your mind with the cheap joysticks because I also have microsoft & logitech pro joysticks. This is different...

Saitek X52 Pro
Thanks a lot !

As you know we didnt decide to build our electronics...

Because of that; we want to do some exercise without any DOF & Electronics... We made a simple wooden racing seat at my uncle workshop...

Me and my friend denizelmas went to workshop 12:30 and first of all we had lunch with a delicious turkish kebap.

After a coffee we started to make the wooden platform without any design output, just think and do at same time with respect to x-sim website researchs...

Honestly, first of all I didnt think that it will be good, but finally we did it with a lot of fun :)

We arrived from the workshop at 17:30 and picked it to my house...
Thanks a lot !

When I got it to my house my childs assumed that new toy came to them but unfortunately that was their father toy :) I couldnt get them away from the platform, but a mean while I decided to put it to my garage room, but we didnt calculate the inhouse transfer, we deassembled the part of monitor holder and then put it to room and assembled again..

At the same night I put my logitech 2+1 sound system and my sony vaio laptop to do some exercises.

I didnt understand how the hours past..

Tuesday I will buy 32" LED tv and will assebly it to platform with the new game pc...

Only this kind of platform gave me a lot of satisfaction when I was playing with FSX...

I cannot think about 2 or 3 DOF motion simulator feelings...
Thanks a lot !

Dear yokoyoko;

Sorry for the late response;

I though a lot and we e-mailed with tronicgr several times, especially I dont want AMC1,6 for me the best one would be AMC644...

Because I want to use big motors and tronicgr said that AMC644 will be better to use. But I confused a little, nowadays I will wait until do my decision..
Thanks a lot !

Have you considered Pololu JRK then? http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1393 , one per motor, 7 wires , one usb cable, easy USO cmmands, no code to sort.
The will run 14v at 30 amps continuous.
How big a motor were you planning?
