Hi Hooshang,
First if you don't try that , may be you could use the potentiometer at the bottom of the board. This potentiometer used for lcd contast or brightness .I have the same thinks and I solved it like that.
If it doesn't work you have to check the connections betwteen the board and the lcd .

Hi hoosang, do you by chance have a diagram drawn up for the setup of 1.6 on breadboard?

2089 is outdated Beta version and there were some bugs in the USO engine sometimes.

You should try the new x-sim3 3006 and report any errors or bugs you find. Support is not provided for older versions.

Other than that you may try grounding the Crystal case in case your crystal has electric ringing due to PWM or Serial interference.

Sorry, I know you mention 2089 ,but you referred to x-sim3 logo. Anyway, as per Tronics instruction, best use version 3.

Although it doesn't have to do anything about the AMC1.6 I'll answer your question:

You need to have the computer running the extractor connected to the internet... simple as that.

About the reset thing, you may need to clean the bottom of your board with solution to remove flux residues and then spay it with plastic protective layer to prevent rust. This is usual procedure for homemade PCBs.

Also try using bigger delay on the USO string, try with 5ms delay or 10ms. Depending on the materials you choose for the capacitors you may have a slight deflection on the crystal clock rate that is messing with the very precise uart timming.
