Maybe, but it would need lots of external circuit like analog output filter, amplifier and probably opto-isolation. Isn't this a variable frequency servo amplifier?

Hi ne02005

Here is a compiled firmware for ATmega1284p.

FTISP for AMC1.6 1.1f atmega1284p.zip

Also for the reset situations try grounding the crystal case like I did in this post:

OK, Thanos,

Yes it's a frequency inverter that can control asynchronous induction motors and permanent magnet synchronous servomotors. I have two more types of asynchronous motors to test. My intention is to make work your AMC 1.6 (I really apreciate this board) with bigger AC motors and I am trying to find the easiest way to do it.
Also I have a dual digital analog conditioner that transforms a variable signal 0 to 220VAC in three different outputs at each of the inputs, one of 0 to 10VDC, another pulse frequency negative and one positive pulse frequency optocoupled, all isolated from the input voltage. Incorporates two more for each entry regulations with you adjust a maximum and a minimum level, these levels activate relays with floating output.

Other signal adapter for input signals of 5v to output signals fron 8 to 24v and has two inputs A B and four outpust A, -A and B, -B

In the attachment is the inverter specs.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Something extrange has happened today with my AMC 1.6. The values of pot X and Y do not change when I turn pot and remains statics all the time. I reflashed the board but nothing happens. I'm using 1.1e.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I think it would be better to open a new topic where you can post photos and /or video of the problem. You can place your topic here:

Hi,

Today I had in my hands another possible cheap motor driver that fits AMC1.6

The DBK-HT Dual motor driver is based on Dual BTS7970 chips forming h-bridge capable of 68A currents. These chips have integrated protection against overheating, overcurrent and overvoltage. BTW, the board I got is all blue, pcb color and connectors.

I attached two motors on the driver, one wiper motor and my trusty big servo motor. It works good and the outputs are very similar to the ones of the Pololu 18v25. So I can say, I approve this dual motor driver as really cheap and really working solution for DIY home simulators based on DC motors.

Here is a short video of part of the test:

Best Regards,
Thanos

Hi Thanos.

Just a quick thank you message for testing the two motor driver boards recently, for sharing your findings and for helping some of us to buy the right product and not waste our money. Your time and investment is much appreciated and worthy of thanks.

Hi Thanos thanks for your good work !! Its very helpfull.
I just wanted to say that it would be very cool if you could do a post about the moter drivers. Just put a quick comparaison of each solution.
Right now I am hesitant between building your Dual Mosfet H-Bridge by TronicGr or buying a drivers. What would a palulu drivers be do thatthe one you design or the chez dual one on ebay coulnt do ? I am using Wiper Motors !

The Optolink board isolates completely the AMC1.6 board from the motor drivers, even the grounds. The only thing that is passed is the waveform which I captured here for you to see:

raw distorted wave from 4N35.gif

And then the waveform is restored to its PWM shape by 74HC14:

Hi Thanos,

Today a friend ask me for repair his H-bridge (DSMhb1_2b) but it is in a really bad state, so I decided give mine and start a new board.

I tell you that because I have seen that you are working on a new simple hbridge that I would like to test. Now, I think I have all parts to start the construction. Is ready for testing or better I make a new DSMhb1_2b board?
