What do you mean? Code that actually work you can found here
http://x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=237&start=130#p4943

This code (hex) you can upload to arduino UNO (or Duemilanove) by using this programm http://xloader.russemotto.com/
This code is not arduino sketch. It is port of my firmware to arduino platform.
This code for 2 dof simulator with potentiometers.

Ale

ok thats one thing sorted, now to find a board and components without an archaeological search needed.....

finally!!! grate work,

and... what kind of h-bridge do we need to have this baby working ????

as far i remmember, there was a problem regarding the amperage of the regular h-bridges made for arduino is-nt it???

I'm sorry, but I'm don't understand, what the problem? All digital signals (PWM and DIRECTIONS) are equal for Arduino and AMC. And Arduino with this firmware can to work with H-Bridge by Thanos and many others (like pololu). But it is important to make a galvanic isolation between controller and H-Bridge.

ok i got it, problem solved.

- what i remmember is that there are in the market some arduino uno motor shields- that works at low amperage, so i was wondering how to solve this, but as you told me, all i have to do is construct or buy a good h-bridge and that is it, i was thinking that arduino needed to be connected to an arduino shield as only alternative.

dear Prilad:

you posted an schematic for arduino uno, where should the motor h-bridge and the potentiometers should be connected?

best regards

Hi prilad, my name is Letrung

I'm using AMC 1.5 board with your soft, when I connected ONLY my board to PC and used ALE's Soft , they work normally , but when I connected my board + motor driver to PC, they work about 5 seconds then they freeze, I do repeat many times but they still freeze :?

Might you help me solve this problem ?

Hi, Letrung.

As I know USB to UART converter (like FT232) is very sensitive to ground currents pulses. To solve this problem Thanos developed the OptoLink board. Look in his thread.

http://www.x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=132

And I strongly recommend to use this or equivalent board between AMC and H-bridge.

On the other hand, this problem could be due to the poor quality usb cable. If it is connected to the connector on the front of the computer, try to connect to the connector on the motherboard.

Regards,
ALE
