Hi all!
Today I have tested the firmware by prilad Isolated with chips ADuM1400. Everything worked perfectly. Here's a little video.

Photos of my isolation board. I designed it for use with the Arduino Nano.

Hi BobBuilt!

I want to inform you (and all community) what we both (me and nullrnd) tested firmware and isolators ( based on 6N137 (for me) and ADuM1400 (for nullrnd)) on Arduino Duemilanowe. Not on Arduino Nano.
When nullrnd was try to test with Nano there were errors and failures in the FT232R. Maybe he has a bad sample of Arduino Nano?

best regards,
Ale

Hi, BobBuilt

BobBuilt wrote:But once I mark the sending the set point bounces up and down even with it not set to occilate,

May be there is mismatch between the sending position and the value of the feedback potentiometer? Try to set feedback potentiometers value = 127 before to mark "sending".

BobBuilt wrote:What could be the problem or can I not worry about that and test with xsim direct.

By default, the firmware has rather large values of the coefficients KpHi and Kplo. For a start I recommend to reduce them ( value = 10). Chahge value in the edit field and then press key "Return". After that new value will send to Arduino. And after if you want to store new values in EEPROM you should press button "Save to EEPROM"

BobBuilt wrote:Plus whats the USO needed to run, same as tronics.

Yes. But COM-port baud = 57600

Ale

BobBuilt wrote:Ok.

1. didnt make any diff

2. Changed kphi/lo to 10 press enter to send. Doesnt change anything set pos (red) still jumps all over the place. Save to eeprom is greyed out never been avail.

Is it possible that Im missing a ddl or a redistribitable file thats needed to run xsimctrl. Plus Im running it from the desktop.
Apart from this the card seems to be working properly will test through xsim.

I have even check the device manager to confirm baud rate set right in windows.

Can you make some "screen capture" videos with using and trouble xSimCTRL?

Hi, BobBuilt.

I see what program is not working correctly. The digits must not blinking. After marking "receive data" all firmware setting must be received and displayed near edit fields.

Check, please, your COM-port setting -
57600,
8,
1 ,
no parity.

Look the video with my Arduino connected to xSimCtrl.
