You can contact vicpopo for layout files. Can't say if it will work with 24v because of the 15v zeners

Hi,

Today I had some time to test higher serial speeds using a beta version that Sirnoname provided me. I achieved speeds up to 230400bps with no problems.

Then I took the time to measure the main loop cycle time compared to the serial stream... in the following link you will find what happened:

Did you stop developing your new board after you have seen this result
A simple editbox can do fresh ideas, thanks goes to prilad who has requested this trick.

No, didn't stop, but I need a reference for comparison right???

We could have this little editbox from years ago... :D

BTW, I have for sale my prototype AMC1.6 board: http://www.x-sim.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=598&p=3977#p3977

This doesn't mean that I abandon this project... I just have a newer PCB version that I'm using and can give this prototype to someone less fortunate with soldering skills. ;)

Hi,

After a major fix in the ADC routines, I finally got my controller run at 5000 times per second all the time, not only for digital encoders...
ADC is now more immune to noise as well. So potentiometers or analog hall-effect sensors can be used with all available resolution.

Have a look here for the logic analyzer capture timings: http://motionsim.blogspot.com/2012/11/real-breakthrough-in-speed-again.html

Thanks,

Thanos
