It would be difficult to make a change of program the Arduino for the plate TM4C123G LaunchPad of TI?
Because it uses a program very similar to the Arduino and is very inexpensive, he works with up to 80Mhz in addition to count with a 12-bit ADC.

Why not this as well? http://www.st.com/web/catalog/tools/FM116/SC959/SS1532/PF259090

Not very easy to port the generic functions used by the arduino to boards like that, mostly because you have to rewrite all libraries to match the hardware... Has anyone the time for this?

I wrote this could be a problem, the standard is at 31kHz and the lower is 3,9kHz (selectable via plugin).
I think anyone should start with 3,9kHz.

The problem with higher frequency (which would be better quality) pwm is the turn off time (capacitance) of mosfets?

Other subject now:
I made this video showing the interference between signals from motor 1 and motor 2.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU8qfnVh4zo

The lights you see far from camera are motor 1 signal outputs. But I was playing with motor 2 on foreground.
That should not be happening, right?

My regards!

I completed building hardware and software deployment based on this project. Worked as intended, tested all the motion using MS Flight Sim X. All needed is mount monitor, joysticks then its ready to ride. I used Arduino Uno and couple of $19 Hbridge from China/Ebay. Burned couple of them though so decided to install 10amp inline fuses. Important to put couple of cooling fans and heatsinks to the Hbridge chips. I am ready to post my project to gallery for others to see and learn. How do I post my finished project (Joyrider frame with 2 wiper motors)? Thank you very much Sirnoname for posting detailed instructions on how to build.

Hi patador,

Happy for you to achieve building your sim rig with some help from Xsim community.Post your work in the motion simulator in progress , after we will move it in the finished section.

Firmwire to Arduino UNO using PWM to analog 0-5V ?

Hi,

I wondering if it's possilbe to usa a analog steeringcard that dont support PWM signal to run firmwire with Ardunio UNO ?

I have an steeringcard with only analog pot-input and would really like yo use those sinc I got them for free and they can be heavylie loaded!

Sorry for my poor english ! :)

Best regards Andreas, Sweden

You need a small circuit to make the PWM to analogue and you need to reprogram the firmware for your needs.
Using a velleman k8055d interface which comes with analogue output may be faster. "Direct output" of X-Sim will output the position directly to the interface analogue port.

Hello sirnoname

This morning I tried out your firmware, first all seems OK (uploading OK) but now I cannot open the settings dialog in the output interfaces. Furthermore there could be an issue with one of the pots - if I turn one pot nearly to the end x-sims says "Warning, an interface was unplugged".

Thanks for help.
