Hey bob,

nice found! I am also using R3 and I was surprised about how good the high speed is working compared to the informations out of the forum and Atmel.
So you need to setup a non common baudrate into USO like 115000 to insure the old arduinos are working well?

For me via eBay 17euro for Arduino UNO and 25 for one H Bridge gives 67 Euro=89$, they send worldwide.
They have also real china shop but I did not see the paypal security there.
My bridges have 45A and are the expensive ones on two boards for an easy exchange. If you take compareable Pololu 30A bridges you can have a dual bridge for 20 euro.

Hi, BobBuilt!!!

Can you tell me size of Input and Output buffers of Virtual COM-port for your Arduino? You can see it at "device manager" - "ports (COM and LPT)" - "Properties" - "advanced"

Hi, BobBuilt!

Can you test this firmware version?

Check, please, that parameter settings are received and displayed when you mark "receive data"? and the received current data (pos, pwm, ets) are correct?

thanks,
Ale

Can you exit from program xSimCtrl and then run it again (don't disconnect Arduino from computer)?

BobBuilt wrote:One other thing when flashing with xloader have to do it at 115200 to be successful. Could be an issue of firmware being corrupted on transfer.

No, I don't think so...

My friend (from Russia) has the same troubles. But when he plug in USB connector to mother board (instead the front of computer), the problem was solved.

And one more thing. Do you have a latest 8u2 firmware?

BobBuilt wrote:1. Yes have tried different ports and cables still same problem.
2. Yep its all up to date already done that one when I was using on my dashboards.

My friend I am using the Freetronics version of the Arduino uno so Im going to stop here and follow your first post to the letter and wait til Monday.
I will have in my hand a real (not fake) Arduino to me there is something wrong ,a step or resistor or a trick they missed.
From then I will reflash with your firmware and start my test from the start again, a swift kick in the butt to me I should have followed your post better.

I thank you greatly and wish I could return the help someday

have some cones.... ;)
