Update: es hat sich rausgestellt das Das Schneckengetriebe für die ruckler verantwortlich ist.
Hier ein Uni Arbeit zu dem Thema:
http://www.uni-kassel.de/upress/online/ ... t.frei.pdf

Hello,

I was playing with pid values and I came to this:
p=0,8
I=0,0
D=10

Could this be causing lack of smoothness/stepping on movement?

I was looking to solve stepness with improving pots mount/hall sensors but I am afraid it could be more an * position speed issue then possible positions issue.

I hope I could make understandable what I mean.

I´ve got also strange values like these. Can someone explain the function? I only found this:

But i don´t get it at all.

update: i had a tiny noise in the FB Signal which caused little left/right shackings. I found out that the arduino uno generate this noise if you don´t use a external powersupply (10V DC) for the arduino. Even feeting with Vine of Saber dosn´t work out.
And here the first 360° onboard Video:

Hi everyone,

first of all, a special thanks to sirnoname for this excellent plugin and xpid firmware.

I have a maybe simple but stupid problem with this tool:
I'm using an arduino uno rev3 with a sabertooth 2x32. Actually i'm testing the setting in a small scale with 9v lego technics motors and a small power supply. The communication between plugin and arduino (potentiometer feedback) works fine, but the motor is running all the time in full speed in one direction. It seems that it isn't getting any information from the arduino. The baudrate of the sabertooth is set to 38400 baud and the switches are in the correct state (simplified serial package, address 128).

is the 2x32 so different to the other sabertooth devices that it won't work, or what could be the issue?

I hope you can help me, maybe the solution is directly in front of my nose! :oops:

greetings

I don't get it... now it works... i don't know what i did, but the motor is doing what he should do... :lol:

I'll try to figure out what happened.

thanks again to sirnoname for this amazing piece of software :D

This could be a wiring problem...the FB Sensor musst be connect right. If e.g. Ground ist on 5V or Signal is on 5V the Motor just turns full speed in one direction.

You were right, it was just a wiring problem. If either the wiring of the pots or the motor is wrong then this failure happens.

Thnx again.

Hello friends,

I come through this post declaring my intentions to build a simladora miniature 6DOF using the Arduino together with 6 servo motors, one for each axis, I'm currently a student in one of the best schools in Brazil and I think to present this project as part of the my conclusion project mandatory course.

I've been researching about similar project and found some that have developed similar systems, now I hope to build a dual-platform like this ->

Image of my system

I'm still developing the necessary mechanisms the whole system and if anyone is interested please contact by private message
