that boards aren't so good !

I do not agree this. Of course you must know where you need bigger power lines but in this case there is no huge power. He does use big cables instead of thin lacquer wires.

I agree with you sir, but prototype boards are much more susceptible to interferences unless he is using shielded wires or am I wrong ? And I can say the aesthetical aspect are not the best too.

Hi Thanos !

I come to ask you if is possible to enable the B1,A2 and B2 to work as the A1 pin, I am asking that, cuz I need to use four limit switches and to put all the wire on one pin would be difficult.

If you or someone else know a good way to achieve that without changing firmware I would appreciate it.

Helo Thanos,

I have a simple question and I cannot find the definitive answer, please help!

Can I have three of this AMC1.6 plugged into my pc to control a 5dof wiper motors motion simulator?
I mean, only if my pc is capable/have enought usb ports of course!

I have wondered about this for the last 6 months. So if its ok I will go on with a super freak motion sim Project. This answer is very important.

Also, I trust your AMC, I have mine for years. I am not sure about the ard uno r3 reliability and speed. I think three of them (uno r3) are capable of 5dof but not sure anyway.

Thanks!

Hi All

I am looking for a PCB maker for AMC 1.6 and also AMC1280 USB to compare with local option, preferably in UK.

I notice builds are progressing with the AMC1280 USB but cannot find if Thanos or others are supplying.

Anyone know if the X-Sim shop is going to sell PCB's ?

Thanos

I sent you an Email seeking your permission for production of a economic batch of PCB's of your design, realise you are very busy with all this excellent six motion development, but I have had Email problems recently and you may not have received it.

Do you still need beta testers for the six input plugin ?

Hi John,

Maybe it was lost in spam folder, PM me here in x-sim your email address to see if I stashed it somewhere. And you are right. Really busy the last months. Lots of underground work that hadn't the chance to show to the world yet.

Regards,
Thanos

Hi Friends,

New to this list. I am a retired Test Pilot from India with interest in simulation. Appreciate the good work being done by sironame, thanos and others. Keep it up.

I have implemented AMC 1.6h and everything appears to be working good. The only problem I am having is saving the Kp coefficients. On issuing "KP~254~~.... , I am seeing the Kp being changed and the second LCD line states that they are saved. For that session, the new coefficients work. However, on power-cycling the AMC 1.6h, it shows Kp 7 and 5 (original ones after flashing).

Thanos, need your help in saving the Kp to 2 and 2.

Thanks

Hi Friends,

Further to my last mail, I have moved forward. The following information has been found after reading through this thread and trying out on AMC 1.6 board:

(a) KP can be set only between 3 and 60 (viewtopic.php?f=39&t=132&start=60#p1275)
(b) KP~254~~***** writes to AMC1.6 only after a fresh power cycle
(c) KP~254 does not succeed every time, even if done as per (b) above.

Hope this helps.
