12v 30A motor controller compatability

Postby Liv2Die » Thu 17. Jul 2014, 21:56

Hello everyone, im new to this forum and using this technology for simulation. I am reserching creating one of these beauty's, and was curious about the compatability of a motor controller i fould, (had to find something other than a jrk considering the high amperage)
So i was curious, would i be able to use this controller:
http://www.pololu.com/product/2393

to drive two of these motors?:

im quite certain it would work... but just wanted clarity, and if so, would it be the same setup as the motomonster? as far as the arduino board goes and such? thank you for your time!

Hi Curtis

Have a look at the new Dimension Engineering Sabertooth 2 x 32 A and using this with their Kangaroo motion controller

There is also a plugin for X sim & the Kangaroo

Thanks for your suggestion! I will have a look tonight when I get home. In anyone's opinion are those a decent motor?
