Actually ... it's good to explain your future thoughts but for projects security even If we didn't like it or any of us will directly benefit from it [that thing we don't understand it now ]... you deserve to be donated without asking why ... like inviting you on a cup of coffee for example every day ... but Thanos ... How about other countries that are not listed in the PayPal ? ...like Egypt.
give me another way to be into this evolution .

I envy you guys ...
-I can't buy online even from horrible eBay .
-I can't make online order .
-I can't even make a donate .
-I'm trapped here ... I can't even find the ATMEGA644 only in my dreams .

I really need help ...

hi, I participated too! I will follow your project and when you will be ready, I could buy a card to be a beta tester with my simulator and my AC motors, but also with my DC motor

I have to disagree, I run these motors http://www.motiondynamics.com.au/worm-d ... orque.html , granted they are not a ebay special, but I have been running them successfully on JRKS for ages *
I run my jrks at 30 amps continuous with no problems. Heat sink and fan cooling.

And that post doesn't mention what size sabertooths he is using.

Possibly the future in motion controllers?

Postby vicpopo » Mon 10. Sep 2012, 15:29

Hi Motiondave,
I just would like to say that the only h-bridge I heard which can drive these motors is a Pololu driver like you.
Today I didn't find anyone who
matched running this motors with for exemple Thanos dual h-bridge or
any DIY dual or simple h-bridge!
Speedy opened a new Topic for its h-bridge for driving big power motors and I'm in discussion with him.
It will be interestning peharps to find a DIY h-bridge for the community which can be done by everyone and not to solve this problem buying Pololu h-bridge eventhough they are the best !!
If you can find in the community someone who matched this I 'm very intetested.I Maybe didn't search as good and If you can help me I thank you.
My project is to test and compare my actually simulator (bigworm motors+k8055 - Sabertooth) with the new amc1.6 from Thanos and a h-bridge which can drive these motors and not Pololu because it's my choice for *
I could understand too that this comparison was in a center of several discussions!
I understand that Thanos cannot work to solve all the problems for the whole community. It's the reason why I need a little help from the community and I try to give back this help testing all the possibilities with Thanos new amc1.6.
Look at this topic and tests I made.
Regards

True, we are getting sidetracked here.
This thread is to discuss a control board that will run more than 12v h-bridges.
I am looking at 24 and 240v motor later, but need a decent control board to do so.
Lets hope Thanos comes up with something.
I have donated.
