i was already decided to make thanos amc board, and made some calculations of price with my warehouse components and warehouse prices + including pcb manufacturing it was: ~40$, but it can be made 25-30$, because its calculated if you order 2units of pcb, but if u order pcb manufacturing for 30-60units then price will drop as you see...

so lets say pcb is 30$ + ~40-70$ h-bridges

so it could be 30 for pcb and 70 por two hbridges or for one hbridge?

if the price if for two bridges it is grate...

- lets say in an impothetical scenario, that in some way all guys in the comunity could buy togheter 30 units, how much time do you think that i could take to make a prototype, test it and the "micro-mass" produce the 30 units?

:D:D:D:D

And on the other hand... i wonder if thanos would have any abjection to this kind of project -i mean, it is his work-

best regards

Where is lots of parts in warehouse, for example caps resistors 1mln and more, bigger problem with atmega644 component, but i have it in warehouse
QFP type. Components and components price are not problem producing 50-100units. Price for resistors is 0.02$ atmega644 is about 3$~... you can imagine.

TO assemble 50 boards, if i have all components ready, it gone take 2hours not more.

IF we make 50boards, approx price for amc board, gonna be around 30$ even less. Cuz if you order more boards to manufacture they cost less.

Main problem, is to make all boards pre-program, need to learn how to do all, guide or something.

You don't need to pre-program the atmega644 chips actually. After they are assembled, you plug them to a computer (USB) and run a simple batch file. The batch file finds the com port of the AMC and identifies the chip and loads the firmware... Takes less than a minute for the procedure.

So what we are thinking, then? lets make these boards?
can you make gerbers with qfp type processor?

Amoras:

Two things

* consider in your project a full package "one control card" and "two h-bridges"

* if you make them, i want one of that babys :D

* maybe we could ask sir no name to place you a link in the main page that says something like "full electronic control solution for 40 usdlls or something" "we are taking pre-orders, we need 50 to go. :D

best regards

yessssss we all need ;]
but as i said before im not c programmer or whatever.., so its kinda difucult to me.
I need files like thanos boards and h bridges files, BOM (bill of material), then
some has to make easy batch or other easy installer to pre-programm these boards.

so here comes..., thanos some margins, shipping and it will cost 100$ :(
just guessing, i think that we need to cooperate, but as i see every1 wants money money money
and bonus Bugatti ;]

Ok, this thread has to be moved to the fitting place, there is no new controller description/building project inside ;)

Dear Amoras:

Have you seen the recent port of the thanos firmware to the arduino board? looks grate, i dont know, this could be an answer or something to your project, i mean, maybe would be nice for intance wait and see exactly what is needed to to it, at least i can see that to implement that solution you need:

* an arduino uno
* h-bridge
* a cumbersome components isolating something between the h-bridge and the arduino...

maybe you could lead the development of a "h-bridge" and isolators in a package ready to plug to arduino

best regards
