The engines do not need as much power if the structure is balanced ... if it works with the atx power -supply try again a car battery
The wipermotors are 12 V ?

I use some similar wipermotors with a 650 W ATX power supply.
With your battery would have to work well, try again ..

There are many factors that make you h-bridge not work.

Some of them include non-isolated motors, too little resistance in DC motor coil, or even just if you grounded the car battery with the wiper motor(No ground is required, in fact its bad!!)

Some detailed photos of the connections, the motor, the h-bridge... And if possible video of what happens when you connect the motor on the h-bridge...

Suddenly my dsmhb started to burn mosfets again. The same setup that was working for more than a year long. :(

Thanos, can a failure in the pwm or direction from AMC cause the h-bridge to fry or can I discard this possibility?

By the way my dsmhb worked for a long time with IRLZ44N mosfets.
They are very expensive and were not available yesterday on the stores near here.

So I might have one or another IRF3205 that I will test with the "Simple mosfet tester" that I am going to assemble today. If they are ok I will try on the HB.

Also I bought two IRLZ24N mosfets (I know its only 18A continuous, I will try 10A fuses) because it was the only available.

I will stick running some tests and will post the results here. ;)
My regards!
