Hi vicpopo :

Good job ... my friend ... they look good indeed . ;)
It looks like you did the etching on a double sided board ... mmm ... impressive ... that's makes it much easier.
My boards are similar but with some burned tracks :o ... due to testing  ... don't warry my friend ... I'm teasing you ... you're doing fine .
The good part is the thickness of the copper disk ... that would be your secret key to cool smooth operation.

I know you may did some of the following ... But just a reminder and a reference for others :
- First do the silkscreen layer for each side ... it's recommended to use the sticker paper way .
- Don't forget to make the "4 surface jumps" on the bottom board.
- make sure the jumps between boards layers are good conducting and would stand mechanical pressure or twisting .
- I want you to do more Polishing to the surface of the copper disk fan and MOSFET's contact arias if possible and avoid the grooved aria .
- Don't rush and operate it without the fan cause you may damage the MOSFET's " Fast Operation Sharpness " a little bit .
- I don't know how you're going to attache this fan to the board ... But you may use long screws with a cover peace of plastic straw on them as isolation.

keep on touch vicpopo so I can enjoy with you again .

best regards
speedy ;)

But maybe you could use this shutdown function of the IR2110 along with a current sensor:

Hi Thanos ...
As you can read my mind ... I can't get such a device her in my country without suffering a lot of dummy factors ... but sure I'll give it a try on paper and computer circuit simulation first... it's a good advantage ... and worth it .
thanks my friend "Thanos the Sit-Angle "

Hi Speedy ,

Just a question about mounting the 3 components ir2110 and the 74hc08 .Did you mount them directly to the pcb ?
In the part list you wrote a dip socket for mounting them but it's very hot my friend to solder this sockect
The space between the pads is very small !
I ask you this because the socket is larger than the pads ,and It isn't possible to get the dip legs flat for soldering on the pcb(the ic base + legs each side flattened are larger than the space between pads)
Best Regards
Pictures to illustrate what I speak about.

Hi Speedy,
I think I found the solution :D !
You can watch the picture below.I didn't solder yet but I think that I have enough space to solder.

good job vicpopo ...

Use a professional tweezers like this for all soldering actions

or a female syle like this

- you should pend the legs as the last post ...Bend the legs the outside way so the legs can rest on the bad without the spring action. ... don't worry ... once all legs are soldered like you did it will become solid .

-Or ... You may also shorten the legs 1mm using nail clippers to have a space on the pads to put solder .

-This German brand of soldering grease in magical ... use it with micro grams .

-If you don't use a solder grease ... Then put some tin on one corner pad and the corresponding base leg ...
-hold the IC base with tweezers or with bare hands from the opposite side aligning the base on its position correctly ... [carefully if you have a thick thumbs like mine] ... or it will give you wawa .
-solder that first IC base leg ... next, do the soldering for the opposite IC base leg, the base is now fixed and wont move ... continue soldering all legs .
-preparing the pads surface with some tin and using some solder grease will help a lot ... that's the magic fun part of it .

the last photo suggested is very good recommended way for iron angle of solder touch ... You are going to do it !!! I feel that .
I wish I had a microscopic camera like the one you have ... [knocks on solid oak ] :D

Hi Speedy,
I made the picture with my smartphone (not the cheapest one I agree with) but with this cheapest microscope , I 've got the cheapest microscopic camera! :D
The microscope mounted on a smartphone case:
Microscope

An exemple picture made with it from a solder x45

That is funny isn't it ! ;)

Wooow ... that''s a good peace of equipment ... Is it a smart phone accessory ? ... pls. tell me how to get something like this
I went back in the chair and let a cigaret to enjoy the picture of soldering in the full screen ... ... rare position for my back
And for sure it can give you this kind of images for small size SMD tracks inspection .

But,there in some viruses hiding behind the left leg :D ... and seriously advice there is an air gab in the mid one that may cause a future joint capacitance, use the grease my friend, use the grease ... Don't depend on the flux built in the soldering lead .
BTW ... did you make the 4 surface jumps ?
to help identify the required pad ... this photo is flipped 180 horizontally ... it is in normal view now

thank you for these nice moments you gave me ...

Hî Speedy,
You can watch this video :
I made this accessory by myself .I bought the microscope on ebay + a phone case and I glued the microscope on the case that I cutted on a half before(like the video is an half case )
I soldered the first dip.Unfortunately I didn't use grease because I don't have it at home.
Below some pictures.
Solder

Before soldering I attached the pcb and the ic base as the picture.I used and it's a good idea 2 rubbers to maintain the ic base for the 2 first soldered legs and after I removed them to finish.I had enough space to solder properly without stress.
Montage

For the straps thank you to remember me them.
Best Regards

Hi Speedy,
You can find attached a picture from where I am in the project right now!
One question about the regulator : the tined area near it has an utility?
Do I put the regulator on the pcb surface or fix it standing(but it crosses tracks).Could you make a little hand drawing showing the right position.
Otherwise it's really quiet to solder ,that takes more time but it's funny.
Best Regards
