Thank you John! That's very kind of you.

Any amount of donation will certainly help more towards getting more external interfaces to try on this dev board! :D

So Thanos, what have you got planned at this stage?
What control board are you getting?
Are you going to try h-bridges? If so, which ones? The existing ones you have? The pololu?

If possible please plan the universal use of h-bridges like the ones I will use for arduino.
So a later exchange is possible ;)
I also would like to write a open source GUI for this controller and later a plugin to switch from terminal to pololu usability.

My plans didn't change. I already ordered and waiting on the following stuff:

http://www.futurlec.com/Mini_Opto_Isolator.shtml
http://dx.com/p/j-link-v8-arm-usb-jtag-adapter-emulator-black-149039?item=6
http://dx.com/p/open107v-arm-cortex-m3-usb-stm32f107vct6-mcu-development-board-kit-150519

And of course you don't have to get the above open107v whole packet, for the project I might use some less adapters (I don't need the Audio module for example)... but I might find use for the I2C board as well for the RS485 and the Ethernet...

Did I mention that the open107v dev board has PS2 keyboard/mouse connector on it? ;)

The firmware will be implemented on Atollic TrueSTUDIO (they have a "lite" version) that should be fairly easy to use a DFU uploader to load new firmware versions on the open107v through its USB port.

Just to mention here my friend's, Rajan Soni, work with similar equipment but PCB board of his design:

I just love his touch GUI menu!!!!

Yes, in my plans is to have a universal support for all type of h-bridges so users have wide selection depending on their motor size!

An open source GUI on the computer (PC) side would be nice for microcontrollers that lack otherwise communication for configuration reasons.
Me on the other hand, coming from robotics that tend to be more independed, I like making GUI's and realtime controls on the controller side!!! ;)
