"Hi Sir

I have a prolific usb to serial adapter, I had trouble getting Describe sw tool to work with it ok,

I used the adapter supplied with the roo to set the roo up, then swapped to the prolific to test with x-sim and that was ok.

using win xp

I can run some tests later in the week and post the describe config file if thats any help.

regards Terry"

Hi,

Hi

do you try to control something with the Kangaroo with X-sim?

I have only been testing with one motor, I have used Race 07 demo, and FSX with just one output effect, using the X-sim plugin, works fine

I have to rework my limit switch setup to mount them direct to the motor, I will then run more tests.

Do i have to program X-sim with a Kangaroo like a K8055?

If yes, i had some good result with PID with K8055 (P=2, I=7, D=3) but not with the Kangaroo. My rig is too "nervous" * lol

PID is set automatically using the auto tune function
Using the describe sw tool you can increase the dead band setting, then up load to the kangaroo
You can also change the pid in the software tool, but have not had to do that

So you think i need to program X-sim on "analogue integer" instead of "dynamic speed value"?

You should not be using USO, the Kangaroo plugin uses the Synaptrix IO Output, I think you will need to clear the USO outputs.

Can you show me how your program this page?

I make different try yesterday and sometimes my computer crash! (never before) It's frozen and after a blue screen with some warning message and after reboot.
???

Very strange.

Niko

Can you post screen sots of your system working using the describe sw tool, ie the output traces, this is where you also set the dead band if your system does not settle at the set position.
