I also requested a free start kit to see if its of any use, but didn't receive it yet... I think they made the layout to be easy to plug to a raspberry PI, as the raspberry does not have any good I/O.

They liked the idea of a 6DOF controller using x-mos. I hope the sliceKIT is better in connectivity options than the startKIT 8-)
