Hey guy I am new to the x-sim diy projects.. I have been reading some of the post but to be honest I am getting a little lost..
This is a student project..

we want to make a simple simulator.. and want to use the video plugin to play back rollercoaster videos..
can someone suggest a parts list for.

Control card.
Motor drivers.
and motors?

Pololu JRK 12v12 (motor controller,h-bridge in one) , one per motor. simplest thing to use despite being $99 each, very simple to set, no sourcing components, and they will run 14v at 30 amps continuous , all day with heatsink on the big chip and fan cooling
Big 12v worm gear motors about 180-200w, either Motion Dynamics or ebay equivalent dayton.
$4 5kohm single turn pot for feedback on each.
