I have access to a couple of used SCN5's. They look to be in very good shape. Anyone with experience with used SCN5's? What should I look for in order to avoid a lemon>?

Nearly undestroyable. Somtimes the pin from the motor axis get broken but it can be demounted and exchanged.

It seems to be a full duplex adapter.
This is dangerous because I cannot read how it work with half duplex. Most of the full duplex adapter make bridges and have a echo on the datalines.
So better not use this adapter.

I have a schematic for connection of the SCN5's.
I am planning on using three independent circuits, one for each actuator, using the following 24V 3A power supply and Devantech USB to RS485 converters. Each circuit will have its own kill switch.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-24V-3A-Switc ... 3f0c11d587.
I would greatly appreciate any comments/suggestions, as I want to have a nice clean build.
