Different actuators

Postby Toplsvette » Mon 28. Nov 2016, 18:01

Hello all,
I am new to the forum and cant post pics yet, so here is my question. I am going to try and use a iai robo cylinder actuator inplace of a scn6 act. They basicly are the same setup.ie.. 24 volt, rs485 input and have a seperate controller for the act. The feedback looks tooks tooks the same also. Where i am running into issues is the robo cyl has a different emg shutdown sys than the scn's do. It has a basic switch plugged into the front of the controller that operates the emg shutdown. The software recononizes the act as a scn5 act but thinks the ILK has been activated and will not load it. Is there a way to work around this to see if this type of act will work. Thanks in advance for any input..

The Ilk is only read. You must invert the output by your actuator firmware or disable it.
