Do you have any idea how terrible update rate these input-output interfaces have? Go ahead if you want to make a slow moving Boing747 simulator...

Eventually we have to move on to actual working intelligent controllers for real and accurate simulation. That's what all is about. Simulation!! NOT arcade machines!! And saying that I share Sirnoname's opinion too!

Well currently the JRKS are good, but the Arduino codes need to be sorted, and your controller look promising, but i am seeing issues.
So what else can we use then?
I would like to move up to 24 and even 240 v motors.
What do I use then?

Plus 1 to Dave's comment.

I am currently investigating the use of AC motors controlled by Frequency Inverters. I have yet to sort the interface between the PC and the Frequency Inverters. While the connections between the Frequency Inverters and the motors are straight forward what to use to control the Frequency Inverters is looking to be a bit more of a problem.

How about this?
AMC644USB + Digital/Analog Opto-isolation board for Inverter

I was two optocouplers sort but I tested it, and it works! Soon to be connected to 220v inverters... ;)
