Help with my simulator, please!!

Hello!
We are making a school project, a very nice car simulator.
We have the electric linear actuators, the arduino mega card and a 8 rele arduino shield.
Everything is mechanical woderfull, but we are having problems with the electronic and programation.
Someone can help us??
Wich arduino program can we use?
How is the xsim configuration??
There is some easy test??

I'm not expert on Arduino, so I can't answer much about that, but for mechanical part, a U-Joint (steering knuckle, or tail shaft knuckle) like this would be much better for pivot point, it is very solid and doesn't rotate, you can get nice movement. Something like this:
