Need advise for me to start with.

Hi fellow X-simmers. I'm new in the group and I want to build my first Motion Simulator. I have seen the gallery of projects and I'm really excited to make one for myself. I think a 2DOF simulator best fits my level at the moment. I saw the projects that uses SNC5 and it was really nice but I plan to use a cheap 12VDC linear actuator I saw from e-bay just to start my project. Can anyone help me with what I can use to drive my motors? The actuators I plan to use has a maximum speed of 30mm/s. It is very less compared to what the SNC5 can do. What is the typical speed of the actuator to fully enjoy the ride from a simulator? Below is the design of the simulator I plan to build. Anyone is free to comment if you think there will be issues with my design.
