Yes it is legally posible. Every once in a while I see requests for version 2, while access to the older software is not possible, you can overcome your lack of internet issue easilly. I don't have internet in my SIM shop either.

Just download and install the most recent version, then make the donation via paypal or C.C. (was $40-50 us dollars in the past) and ask to receive an offline key for one PC.

Well worth it, works great for users like me who have no afordable way to get good internet at home.

The info on this optuion on the web site isn't laid out as clear as it could be, but its there if you look close.

To actually make a donation click the donate link in the top right corner of the page. Will take you to paypall, and automatically convert to your curency for you. You just tell it 30 Euros and it does the rest.

Before making the donation, You need to get a instalation number from your curent install of X-sim that is specciffic to your PC's hard drive/Mother Board combination. I believe you get this number in extractor, try to activate before the donation and it should show you this reference # to refer to when making the donation. This Number is speciffic to your pc, and is used to create the key that you later get sent that unlocks the offline supporter edition. It will only work on that one hard drive/mother board combination. so if you later get a new PC, or harddrive, I believe you need to make another donation. I have had mine for over a year now and have no issues. I love it!

You can chose to go online and offline at will if you later get internet access.
