Rfactor dedicated xsimpluging error Appcrash solved with post #18779

Tengo un problema con el servidor rFactor dedicado y el xsimpluging...es indiferente si lanzo el dedicado antes o despues del extractor....

El informe de errores del Visor de Eventos me muestra este informe:

paso 2.-start ad administrator (rfactor,rfactor dedicated, Xtractor, Converter)......Ok
paso 3.-remove UAC...........Ok
paso 4.-check this forum for plugin updates x-sim version 3.0.2.9......................Ok

ya desintale y volvi a instalar el rfactor....pero el problema continua (But, the problem Continues....)

Unas veces se conecta el rfactor con el rfactor dedicado pero es muy volatil....(sometimes active and sometimes is not activated).....

Working on my side with 1.2.5.5 and win10 and rFactor must be run as administrator. Without admin, rFactor do not start.
I do not see the rfactor dedicated is running, only rfactor.exe. As far I know this is the server and does not need the xsim dll file. Use the server from another directory.
How is it on your side?

Encontre una solucion cuando iniciamos con el rFactor Dedicated, en vez del rfactor normal :

1.-Ingresar a UserData
2.- C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor\UserData\nameplayer buscamos y abrimos con bloc de notas el archivo nameplayer.PLR
3.- Cambiar el estado de la linea: "Active Sleep Time ":-1 "ms to sleep each loop if the
game is the active app (-1 to disable). Consider setting to 1 or
more if you are running a dedicated server on the same machine." por "Active Sleep Time ":1
4.- guardamos el cambio del nameplayer.PLR

PD: el rango de Active Sleep Time va de -1 a 250 max...

Very good.
Maybe this setup solves many rFactor and rFactor2 problems.

I do not want to insert a sleep timer because this would not be realtime. So no workaround in the plugin.
It is a crash of access of two applications to one and the same telemetry memory area. The dedicated server and the game try to access because both load the plugin. So your timer do avoid the problem but "maybe" this works not for a long time for you. It is more save to use two different directories, the server without the x-sim plugin, it does not need a telemetry output.
