Be carefull with simply connecting stuff to ground, this could fry your electronics!

An option would be to decouple the PC's (RS232 cable's) ground from the other electronics but I'm not sure if this can cause issues because ground isn't at the same level.

Edit: I don't meen the RS232 signal ground of course (pin 5) but the cable shield/metal housing.

Well this is true about the PSU grounding, floriske is right, I would check that first, but this does not affect the frame of the sim what we are talking about here.
(The sim was suppose to be isolated from everything..) So if you get a "buzz" of the frame, its somehow grounding to the pc..

Do you have your TFT-monitor bolted to the frame? It could be one reason too. (some manufacturers ground the VESA-plate in the TFT:s outer frame).

I think a picture of the place where you have the sim would be good, and of the sim it self, take a multimeter and check the voltages, and report back.

Sorry, I thought that you have checked it allready.

One way to check why this happens, is that take all the cables off the sim frame, I mean everything, and test if you get the buzz. Then one by one attach them back/touch the frame, this is how you isolate the reason, easy.

Last week I had problem with one wiper motor that burned out. Then my DSMHB was ruined too.
So I replaced the wiper motor and fixed my HB and so far I have less noise from the motors (I thought the loud noises was from both motors) and seems that I dont got shock anymore (to be confirmed)!
So, if comproved, I would say that the "burned-out motor" was noisy and somehow was short-circuiting the frame and giving me the shocks.
Yes, all the motors are isolated from the frame and everything I just said has to be tested again and confirmed.

Thanks alot!
Regards,
Rafael.

when i run motors on 5hz I get noise, switching to a 20hz resolves the squeal.
